GENERAL INFORMATION OF THE UVAMOBPLUS2 PROJECT (2022-2025)

1. ERASMUS+ PROGRAMME

Erasmus+ is the EU's programme to support education, training, youth and sport in Europe. It has an estimated budget of €26.2 billion. This is nearly double the funding compared to its predecessor programme (2014-2020).

The 2021-2027 programme places a strong focus on social inclusion, the green and digital transitions, and promoting young people’s participation in democratic life.

It supports priorities and activities set out in the European Education Area, Digital Education Action Plan and the European Skills Agenda. The programme also:

  • supports the European Pillar of Social Rights
  • implements the EU Youth Strategy 2019-2027
  • develops the European dimension in sport

2. UVAMOBPLUS2 PROJECT

The UVAMOBPLUS2 project is coordinated by the University of Valladolid, within the framework of the European Programme Erasmus+ Key Action 1 (KA171) “International Credit Mobility”. This action is part of the International Dimension of the Erasmus+ Programme, managed by SEPIE in Spain.

It is a project of mobility of undergraduate, master and doctorate mobility, in addition to academic and administrative staff, between the University of Valladolid and the Partner universities from the 31 targeted countries outside the European Union. For the period 2022-2025 the project will implement at least 338 mobility exchanges in the different categories, both for incoming and outgoing.

Our project Erasmus+ 2022-1-ES01-KA171-HED-000072505 for the period project 2022-2025 has been awarded with the 2nd biggest budget among the Spanish Higher Education Institutions, with 1.3 million EUR.

The management of the project will be carried out through the online platform UVAMOBPLUS2 (uvamobplus2.uva.es), developed by the University of Valladolid and awarded with a best practice by the Spanish Erasmus+ National Agency in 2018.

3. SCHOLARSHIPS AND CALL FOR APPLICATIONS

This project will have different Call for Applications for each type of mobility exchange during the lifetime of the project. Information on the target applicants, distribution of grants and academic requirements will be explained in each Call for Applications document. 4. FINANCIAL SUPPORT

  • Individual Support (Costs of Stay)
  • Student Mobility (SMS – studies):
  • From Partner Countries to the University of Valladolid: 850 EUR / month (average mobility period of 5 months)
  • From the University of Valladolid to a Institution in a partner country: 700 EUR / month (average mobility period of 5 months)
  • Student Mobility (SMP - internships):
  • From Partner Countries to the University of Valladolid: 850 EUR / month (average mobility period of 3 months)
  • From the University of Valladolid to a Institution in a partner country: 700 EUR / month (average mobility period of 3 months)
  • Staff Mobilty (STA/STT – both for academic or administrative staff)
  • From Partner Countries to the University of Valladolid: 160 EUR / day (5 working days + 2 travel days)
  • From the University of Valladolid to an Institution in a partner country: 180 EUR / month (5 working days + 2 travel days)

    (*) IMPORTANT: Travel distances must be calculated using the distance calculator supported by the European Commission (http://ec.europa.eu/programmes/erasmus-plus/tools/distance_en.htm). The distance of a one-way travel must be used to calculate the amount of the EU grant that will support the round trip. The travel distance will be calculated taking into account the linear distance between the city where the university of origin (or place of origin if different due to justified reasons) and the city where the host university are located.

  • Insurance
  • The UVa will provide incoming students with a full medical insurance valid in Spain.
  • Incoming staff participants at UVa must buy their own insurance valid in Spain.
  • The UVa will provide their outgoing participants with a medical and travel insurance valid worldwide.
  • VISA
  • Visa costs are not covered by the Erasmus+ programme. However, the UVa will provide up to 50% of the VISA fee (administrative fee). Any additional cost or travel expense is not included. Visa fee receipt will be required for that extra support.
  • Spanish Language Course
  • The UVa will provide a Spanish crash course for all incoming students at a reduced price, if it is required by the academic programme they will carry out.
  • ADDITTIONAL SUPPORT FOR PARTICIPANTS (ONLY STUDENTS) WITH FEWER OPPORTUNITIES
  • European Union grants for participants with socio-economic obstacles and health problems, intended for students belonging to one of the following groups:
  • Beneficiaries of the National General Scheme Scholarship of the Ministry of Universities (or similar in each country) in the academic year prior to the Erasmus+ mobility.
  • Large families.
  • Victims of terrorism or gender violence or orphans due to these causes.
  • Recipients of Minimum Vital Income
  • Persons at risk of social exclusion.
  • Persons in situations of special need and social emergency considered by the pertinent relevant administration.
  • Persons in a situation of dependency or participants with dependents.
  • Students with a disability equal to or greater than 33%
  • Students coming from institutions in Ukraine.
  • Any of these situations must be accredited by means of a report from the Social Services of the corresponding Local, Regional or National Administration in each country or by a document issued by the Social Services at each partner institution. All documents will be checked at evaluation phase.
  • The student will receive an extra allowance of 250 EUR/ month for belonging to one of the groups related. The aid is not cumulative if the student belongs to more than one group.

5. ERASMUS+ PRIVACY STATEMENT

If candidates/applicants are selected or put on the reserve list their data may be used in line with Regulation (EU) 2018/1725 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 23 October 2018 on the protection of natural persons with regard to the processing of personal data by the Union institutions, bodies, offices and agencies and on the free movement of such data. The data controller and the processors listed in this privacy statement follow the rules of the Regulation.
